At Vision Center 2, we provide primary eye care, which includes comprehensive vision examinations as well as eye health examinations. Using computerized technology to assist the evaluation of the eyes, we are able to detect and manage eye and general health disorders. Examinations include tests for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and the ocular effects of many general health disorders such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Once the doctor evaluates your eyes, he will recommend a treatment plan for you. This may include glasses, contact lenses, or medical treatment in the form of eyedrops or surgery.
If you desire laser vision correction, our doctor will assess your eye health and vision needs to determine if you are a good candidate.
The American Optometric Association recommends that all people should have periodic, comprehensive eye examinations every one to two years depending on ones particular needs. For those who wear contact lenses, it is required to have a contact lens evaluation every 2 years.
